Cookie policy

Note for the agency: this is a general template written for travel and trekking agencies registered in Nepal. Have it reviewed by your lawyer or adviser, adjust it to how you actually work, and then remove this note.

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This page explains the cookies Trekking sites uses on this website and how to control them.

Necessary cookies

These make the site work, for example remembering your cookie choice and keeping forms working while you fill them in. They do not track you across other sites and cannot be switched off, though you can delete them in your browser settings.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful, how visitors find us and whether inquiries and WhatsApp buttons work. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_*, kept for up to 2 years. Google Analytics does not store full IP addresses. Google processes this data for us under its own terms; see Google's privacy policy for details.

If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.

Changing your choice

You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer, or by clearing cookies for this site in your browser. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

Embedded content

Pages with maps or videos may load content from Google Maps or YouTube, which can set their own cookies when you use them.
